Sat appeared friendly at first and gives you the impression he and the company are professional. We were taken in and booked! After that it was an awful experience. When their battered old Luton van turned up with two guys on the day they couldn't fit everything in. Our dining table and chairs were left behind. They cut the hose to our washing machine so it was unusable at the other end. We didn't know this until we tried to connect it days later. Once they had our stuff we were told to go to the Bank and get the cashi and pay the whole amount due immediately before they would start the journey. They said they were told to do this. We had to as we felt our stuff was held to ransome. They made an already stressful time a hundred times worse. So, so awful and totally ruined what should have been a joyful time. Please beware!

We had problems with our house purchase for a very long time. Sat was more than accomodating in keeping the removal date paused while we got everything sorted and was great in getting a date booked in that suited us as soons as we had locked the purchase down.

Sat and his team were very efficient and careful with our belongs. It was clear they had a vast ammount of experience in how to package various objects up and were more than happy to share this knowledge.

I would highly recommend Royale removals and will definately use them for my next move.

Read the other reviews, you'll see people with the same names - possibly related. They were also registered under other names (Royale Removals, Comparingmoves.com, Stress 3 Moves Ltd, J S Moves Ltd, Riight Moves Ltd - current company provides dissolved company number - to name a few). Royale Removals has google reviews that are identical to the scam that was pulled on me. It has since been dissolved but they seem to rotate between companies over time once the reviews catch up with them.

The issue is you will receive a quote that seems reasonable, even slightly below what other quotes are. Stop yourself. I received other quotes in addition to this one. They gave me a quote of £750 + £10/box packing. Based on my other quote of 40 boxes, this put the total amount about £150-£100 less. Final bill was £2650 including the 95 (!) tiny boxes they packed - TO MOVE A 2 BEDROOM FLAT. For example, one box had 1 pillow it in. £10 to move 1 pillow. Let that sink in.

Essentially, one of the brothers who own the business (Sat) said there are a few things not in the pictures some steps coming into the building he didn't know about and there may be an extra charge. I asked if he can tell me how much it will cost and he said, he will inventory it and the office needs to provide the quote. They finished all the packing (at this point they knew what contents we had) and continued to push for the quote - and he continued to deflect the request. As the the truck was nearly loaded, he said I need to pay the new amount or they won't move the items. He waited until the time where it was impossible to back out. You need to move out that day and good luck finding anyone to move you on such short notice. You WILL be put in a situation where you will have no choice but to pay any fee they demand.

Do yourself a favour and just go with a major moving company. Being scammed like this really adds more difficulty and stress to an already stressful situation.

The removal guys worked hard but not a good experience overall. Not a professional execution, Im afraid. Paid for full packing and dissaembly/re-assembly. Beds were re-assembled but not tge sofa and wardrobes. Had to chase the manager multiple times to get this done. Single mum so just couldn't tackle this myself. Wardrobes finally done but doors crooked, back panels not reattached. Favourit designer lampshade, traesured for years just stuffed in a box with other items.. crunched and marked up :(. 3 breakages (that I know of so far).. no mention of them by the guys. Confirmed 3 times that garden furniture included in move. After driver telling me Id ordered the wrong size van (too small), I said I hadn't specified van size. Then told my partner had insisted on it. I don't have a partner. When they wentto move the garden furniture, I was told it was falling apart andwoukd have to leave it, advised that it had woodworm?! It was fine, they dissasembled one pieceto get on van. It still sits in my garden now with the roif loose, ready to fall on my son or my head :(. Said they would collect boxes, Fill half of my garage. 3 weeks on and no collection, just ignoring me now. Having a bathroom delivered tomorrowbut garage too full with boxes :(. Manager seems professional when obtaining the business but minimal interaction thereafter. Made the move stressful on the day everyone waiting in chain and I neededto help carry and load and unload or would have been even later. Wish Id sen these reviews before I booked. Thought they were a local firm.. website was deceiving).

They responded quickly to request on Friday. Estimate visit on Monday. Accepted on Tuesday. Moved on Friday! Sat and team arrived at 8 am and worked hard through day to 9 pm. In spite of underestimating the task they remained helpful and cooperative throughout. All important items were well protected and shrink wrapped. We would recommend them to our friends and use them again ourselves. Even afterwards when we had mislaid some items they told us over the phone where they were. Very impressive!

I was furnishing my house and had many empty boxes - dustmen unfortunately won't take all of them in one go so it was very helpful and freed a lot of space in my garage.

Sat was very helpful and the quote obtained was the most reasonable out of several company's I contacted. The agreed amount was £695 for the move, including all packing.

One of Sat's team came to start packing at the agreed time and after an hour Sat arrived to help and informed me there would be an extra charge for the packing. I was surprised about this as it hadn't been previously mentioned, and even more surprised when £300 was requested, and Sat insisted I pay this immediately, before they delivered the items at the delivery address. Therefore the total I ended up paying was £995, despite agreeing £695 in advance.

This said the packing service was very good, and the driver was also happy to drop a couple of boxes in Archway en-route, which was helpful. However I recommend the pricing is made clearer up front and extra amounts are not requested after the total is agreed.

I recently contacted Royale removals to get a quote for a move they were slightly more expensive than the others however Sat the guy that came round seemed very Professional.

Royale removal packed and moved my three bedroom house from Dulwich to Peckham the team were brilliant and new exactly what they were doing.

I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family if you are looking for a stressfree service with an experienced company I would definitely recommend these guys.

Initially the service was good, fair price agreed with Sat and packing materials delivered promptly.
However on moving day it was a completely different story, the two removal men turned up 40 minutes late and didn't seem to know what service we had agreed to I.e. If they were meant to be providing a dismantling service within the removal price (which they were) The boxes seemed to be manageable for them, but when it came to large items they really struggled as there was only two of them. The sofa had to be taken down stairs and they were so careless they managed to make three massive holes in the plaster in the hallway (which required a professional plasterer to come & fix) they also scratched paint work. There was no apology given they just said that it was one of those things.
Once they were all packed up we agreed on a time to meet at the new property they turned up 40 minutes late.
Before unloading they asked for the balance to be paid which was fine but they then said there was an additional £175 added to the agreed price, because apparently there were two extra beds (on Sats visit to the property I had clearly shown him the two beds!) and I'd asked for some extra bubble wrap and a few extra boxes. After many unhelpful calls to the head office and sending them a email of the original agreed price they then changed their minds and said there was some additional stairs so that's why there was extra cost ,we had to eventually give them an extra £100 just so they would unload our stuff as it was getting late and we have two small children who needed their stuff. It is apparent that the system/checklists they use for pricing a job isn't comprehensive enough if they have to keep changing the agreed price.
Initially the price was very appealing but you really do get what you pay for and sadly the service provided by this company is appalling.

Sat seemed very confident when he did the quote and assured us everything would be fine. One of the three who came to pack the first load was capable and conscientious. Things started going pear-shaped when they took our overnight bags, although these were clearly labelled to be left. On moving day they simply didn't show and we didn't get any response until 5 pm. They reluctantly agreed to send a van next day, but it was too small for what was left and we even had to help them load. We'd labelled up where things were to go, but they just dumped them as fast as they could. We're still looking for some things. Sat wouldn't take any responsibility - his attitude was that these things happen. If you do use them, get an itemised bill in writing and T&Cs in advance (Sat bumped the price up at the last minute.).

Helping my 86-year-old father organise his move from a downsized 3-bed house to a 1-bed flat I received a number of quotes all within the £400 to £500 range. [NAME EDIT] of Royal Removals contacted me and offered to perform a survey which he did and we agreed on the price of £650. All very friendly at this stage. On the day of the move I arrived at the house. The crew arrived shortly after 9.00, as agreed, led by [NAME EDIT]'s brother. While there was certainly more packing to be done by the crew they were nevertheless loaded by 11:30. There was a delay of a few hours as we didn’t receive our buyer’s funds until 2:00pm which, in turn, meant we weren’t able to get the keys to our property until 4:00 pm. [NAME EDIT]’s brother said the additional work would result in a price increase to £850 but there would be ‘additional charges’ on top. Driving to the new flat I received an email. At first it looked like the new price was £1,150. I phoned them and said that was a bit steep, could we agree on £1,000 (so an extra £150). I was then told I had made a mistake – they wanted an ADDITIONAL £1,150. There followed a long and protracted discussion which basically boiled down to if my father wanted to see his goods again then he would have to pay up immediately - and in cash. The ‘discussion’ continued at the destination and a token £50 ‘discount’ was offered. My father, at this stage was becoming distressed so I paid them off – just to get rid of them and get my father moved-in, which we did before 5:30pm – so still in a working day. Just to summarise, the price went up from an initial £650 to £1,950 – exactly triple.

My father was ripped-off, and they know it. They [EDIT] and felt they could charge whatever they wanted. Please, please, please do not even think about using these cowboys who use [EDIT] tactics to extort money from the vulnerable.

Avoid! Worst experience!
Ok, should start with the fact that we found quote provided by this company the most appealing and have been promised that the boxes will be delivered before the moving day. As days have passed, no boxes were delivered and few days before the day we were told that it was going to cost additional 45 pounds as we live too far. Well we were tight on time and this was unexpected, had no time to switch to another company, so we had to arrange our own packing, however the boxes were supposed to be available on the day of the move.. except they were not!
On the day the van with two men not wearing uniform (not that important, but just to give you an idea that this is more of a man with a van company, which you can hire for much less than this guys charging),have turned up 30 minutes later than agreed. They did not have appropriate tools to take the bed apart, thankfully we did. No packing has been done by them, they have just moved items, while damaging our brand new leather sofa (claiming then that it was damaged already), none of the items were "carefully covered" as they have promised and the walls all around place were damaged. As we had to pack our things meanwhile not all of this could be supervised.
It only gets better. After loading the van with the big pieces they have said that they were not informed about small items (which they were) and wanted to charge us extra 250 pounds for that. We have rejected, so they have "kindly offered" to move small items which been already packed, and we've thought that they were nice after all. Mistake! they have moved few boxes and couple of items like ironing board and lamp into the van and  than said we have to pay 130 pounds.When we said that we never agreed to pay extra, they got a little aggressive claiming that we have. Ended up paying extra 60.
Oh yes! As they have drove away with our belongings and only few small items leaving us with several unpacked drawers, the what was supposed to be called "moving day" have turned into several as we had to do runs our self.
I've just seen another reviews when people got proper ripped off, sad I have not seen them before, hope my review will save you few bucks and most importantly your time and stress they cause.
If you are timid or have hands full and do not like to be bullied into paying a bomb for a crap service, than avoid at any cost!

Where do I start? Initially appeared to be good. Agreed on a
fair price over the phone. Specified exactly how many items we had. Was sent boxes to pack, good quality.
It all started going wrong on the removal day. 2 hours in we
were told that we would have to pay an extra 50% as apparently we had more
stuff than they were aware of. This is not true as they knew exactly how many
boxes we had as they delivered them to us! The guys doing the work said we had
packed a lot better than most. Rather conveniently they had turned up to the
property with an additional van that they then used! Why, if we only needed one
did they send out two?!
This has happened with other people we know who have used
them. This company is a complete sham. Avoid at all costs.

Was very pleased with the service by Sat and the other guys at Royale Removals. The quote was competitive and we were supplied with as many boxes as requested before moving day.
On the day the movers arrived promptly on time and were not shy in getting started. After packing up the journey North began, we were moving a couple of hundred miles so we arrived well ahead of the van. We moved into a storage unit and this was quickly taken care of. Everything arrived in good condition, the only "damage" being a couple of lampshades bent but this is not a big issue.
This would've been a 5 star review except for the following handful of issues - we had to give the movers tape to use when protecting our televisions as they did not have their own, this wrapping service was said to be included. I had to provide the tools (Allen Key) as they did not have their own and disassemble a table myself, this service was said to be included as well. Our walls were marked as one of the bed pieces was moved down the stairs - we were able to clean this easily, but it was not mentioned by the movers, we had to discover it ourselves. Lastly, it was two different people who loaded and then unloaded with no detailed explanation of this, not a big enough problem for us to worry about at the time, but I believe clearer communication could make the difference in situations like this.
As I said, aside from the above small issues it was a good service for a good price - would recommend.
